Techniques of fieldwork and analysis; ethnographic recording, participant observation, and focused interviewing. Analysis of information collected. (Not open to students who have completed Anthropology and Archaeology 70.3 andlor 71.)
Prerequisite: Anthropology 1 and 2.2 or 2.3 or 2.4; and Anthropology 30 or 34; and six credits in advanced Anthropology and Archaeology courses; or permission of the chairperson.
